I wanted to do a BBQ but am not rich enough to have a garden big enough in Tokyo. So I rented some space and equipment at Kasai Rinkai Koen.
There are many parks in Tokyo where BBQ is allowed, and some of them have BBQ equipment for hire, which is very handy especially if you don't have a car, like me.
Some of us got there around 10:40, hired and set everything up . It was about an hour until anyone turned up and we didn't have any beer/wine with us...what a tragedy! Next time, better to schedule it for the afternoon...
More people started to arrive around noon, bringing more drinks and food.
I can't remember what it's called, but someone made melted marshmallow and chocolate sandwiched with cookies. I'd be too scared to find out how much calories one of those incredibly sweet things has...
On our way back , we found a Ferris wheel in the park. By the time we got on it it was getting dark and we had a really nice view of Tokyo. It was a bit too windy at the top tho. :-)

Inspite of having lots of friends (really), I still managed to get a table to myself :-)
