less "should", more "want"

A few things i noticed about myself:

1) I tend to think in what terms of what I "should do" rather than what I "want to do".
2) I use "should" in my sentences a lot.
3) On my to-do list, I usually have more "should do"s than I can actually do.
4) I get depressed when doing what I "should do" doesn't make me happy.
5) I get anxious and overwhelmed when i have many "should do"s.

My little experiment:
1) use less "should" and more "want" in my sentences, and see if i manage to do more things that i want to do.

My opinion:

"should" and "want" both imply that you are not really commited to doing something.

Better to say "I'm going to" or "I am..."

E.G.

What are your plans tonight?

1. I should study tonight
2. I want to study tonight
3. I'm going to study tonight.
4. I am studying tonight.

No. 4 seems the most commited to me.

I "should" use this myself ;)
